Embroidery stitch for flowers

This is a pretty stitch to incorporate into your designs. I like adding a little embroidery detail to my cross stitch. Now I just have to see how this looks as flower petals with a French knot in the middle.

    Nice. I've been thinking about taking up embroidery, so this is a great place to start.

    Embroidery is gorgeous but it confuses me to no end. You know what I like about cross stitch? You can't really mess up x's. Well, much.
